Dear friends,
Last week, Dutch designer Marjolein Delhaas launched her new collection of planners and journals in Clementine Orange. Guess what? Apple unveiled an iPhone 17 in a brand new colour: Cosmic Orange! Wouldn't you like to know what the Pantone colour of the year 2026 will be? I think it will be an orange shade. Both products are on my favourite list for next year. The 25th Dutch Design Week is coming up, and, as last year, I’m creating an alternative Design Week Map for visitors, together with Eindhoven-based product designer Maarten Baptist. If you or a friend is participating in Dutch Design Week, please submit your event to the site – we'd be happy to include it on the map!

You can still sign up to help paint a special mural called 'CHARACTERS: Voices in Type', which makes a statement about freedom, on 2 and 3 October in Breda.
