This weeks Design & Creativity events around the world

Welcome to Issue 193

A new year comes with a couple of changes for this newsletter. Not too much, just three little things.

First, I'm sending the newsletter out on a Sunday, instate of Monday. So you do not miss out on events that start on Monday.

Second, I've switched from newsletter provider. From Mailchimp to Revue. Mailchimp was just not right for me anymore. With the switch, I merged our Dutch and international newsletters.

Lastly, the focus of the newsletter keeps the same. Share the most interesting upcoming design and creativity events, big and small, from around the world! For this year I've defined five content categories that I think are helpful, fun and inspiring for you as an attendee, speaker or organizer to know about. In the coming weeks/months it will crystallise more...

Here we go!

A comprehensive list of the influential UX, design and creativity conferences 2022 that you can not miss this year. Whether you are into graphic design, digital design, data visualisation, technology or animation, this year's selection has something for you.

Watch Back

Kaitlyn Chang from Accenture Interactive Austria calls the reason for this the Swan Lake Syndrome – the collective bias / assumptions the society unfairly places on gender roles, and our attempt to fulfil it in vain. As an internationally recognized female leader in the creative industry who has also just become a new mom at the age of 41, Kaitlyn will talk about ways to smash these stereotypes – not just as individuals, but as a conscious group of creatives who realize how much we shape and influence what people, and especially children, see, read, hear and consume on a daily basis. Recorded during Forward Festival Vienna 2021.

See you next week.

Are you or do you have a friend/colleague who organizes a workshop, field trip, meet-up, festival or conference and think it's a good fit for Neon Moiré? You are invited to add the upcoming event to neonmoire.com.

Have a great week. — Thomas
